De Zeekoe location is idyllic with rolling hills in the background and a perfect spot to enjoy a sunset. Very close to Oudtshoorn and the R62 it's a perfect road trip stop over. The rooms are fantastic, large and comfortable with luxurious ensuite bathroom facilities. A game lodge feel without being too far out Finally the Windpomp restaurant offers a delicious breakfast buffet with everything you could possibly wish for. And for dinner you are treated to comforting homestyle meals and exquisite wines. The cherry on top of course is the staff, the credit really goes to them. They are all incredibly friendly, helpful and will go out of their way to make your stay everything you were looking for. Don't forget the Five Shy Meerkat morning walk... A unique opportunity to see and experience wild meerkats. Truly special and a must-do when staying at De Zeekoe.

The setting was stunning. The partnerships with meerkat and stargazing tours make this a destination resort. We would have loved to have used the canoes and bikes but not enough time. The room was beautiful. Details like the afternoon snacks, the sherry in the room, the gowns, the balcony swing, the 4 poster bed, were all superb. The pool was warm, well kept. It was so special swimming in such a scenic pool at sunset! We wishes we had not just booked a single night. Lots to do in the area:- caves, ostrich farm, swatsburg pass hiking, Prince Albert, etcetc. And super helpful friendly staff

We absolutely loved our stay at De Zeekoe. It was our favourite accommodation on our south Africa trip. So much so we definitely should have stayed a second night. Our dinner at the property was great and the views were absolutely phenomenal. We added the meerkat sunrise tour to our stay and loved it. The hosts also helped us book our cango caves tour upon arrival.

Monique

The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful. Parking was easy and close to room. Breakfast was great, lots to choose from. They also ensured that if you did the Meerkat tour you could still have breakfast on your return. The later check out time of 10.30 made sure you did not feel rushed over your breakfast.

Kat

The meerkat tour was the highlight of our stay , the bed was very comfortable, the heated blanket on the bed was much appreciated as it was very cold when my husband and I stayed over , supper at the restaurant was delicious! Staff was friendly 😁 the kitty cats on the property were so friendly and loved laying in front of the fireplace.
